Job Description
We are looking for an
Senior QA Engineer CashOptix based in Germany, Belgium, or Bulgaria to strengthen our remote team.
- Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle to proactively identify and address quality issues early in the process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining QA processes and enhancing efficiency.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for manual testing across both frontend and backend systems.
- Embrace the opportunity to learn new technologies and tools, including automation frameworks (JAVA), to enhance personal and team capabilities.
- Analyze logs and investigate issues deeply to uncover root causes and provide meaningful insights.
- Support resolving customer issues as they arise.
- Take a proactive role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to grasp project requirements and provide valuable insights into testability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in manual testing of web applications (both backend and frontend).
- Extensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to the details.
- Ability to adapt swiftly to shifting priorities and excel in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- Quick to learn new concepts and technologies, willing to learn test automation.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Relevant University degree or College diploma in Informatics or similar.
- Experience in the FinTech industry and knowledge of payments.
- Experience with AWS Technologies.
